Job summary
Chicago Cardiology Institute in the Chicago area is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its expanding Electrophysiology (EP) team serving patients across Schaumburg and Oak Park. This opportunity suits an experienced cardiovascular APP or a new graduate with a strong heart-rhythm background, with training and mentorship to develop EP expertise.
You'll collaborate with cardiologists and cardiovascular professionals in a supportive setting, enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule
Qualifications
- Board-Certified NP or PA with cardiovascular focus.
- Active Illinois NP or PA license or eligibility before starting.
- New graduates with cardiac background encouraged to apply.
- Cardiology or EP experience as APP or RN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with electrophysiology and cardiovascular conditions.
- Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits.
- Support care of patients with arrhythmias and related conditions.
- Review diagnostic studies and lab results to guide treatment decisions.
- Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, and the cardiovascular team.
- Educate patients on diagnoses, medications, and wellness.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and expand EP knowledge.
