Job summary

Current Clinic is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our EP-focused cardiology team. You will see patients in the clinic, perform evaluations, and participate in procedures, collaborating closely with electrophysiology to optimize Afib care.

The ideal candidate holds an active NP license in Indiana with board certification (FNP/ACNP or equivalent), 2–3 years in a cardiology clinic, and strong communication skills for patient education and family guidance.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP licensure in Indiana with board certification (FNP, ACNP, or equivalent).
• 2–3 years of cardiology clinic experience.
• Familiarity with Afib and arrhythmias, including workup and management.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient education.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and adapting to new tech.

Responsibilities

• See patients in the clinic, evaluations, follow-up visits, and Afib-related consultations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on guidelines.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including ECGs.
• Educate patients and families on Afib management and lifestyle changes.
• Coordinate care across the clinical team and external providers.
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation in the EHR and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to clinical protocols and quality initiatives as the practice grows.
