Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Medical Assisting Program as designated by the Enterprise MA Steering Committee.
• Completion of a clinical externship; extensive clinical experience may be considered in lieu.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC within new hire period.
• Current demonstrated clinical proficiency; military medical training will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screenings and treatments; update health maintenance data, allergy info and medication changes.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the care team.
• Maintain equipment, medical supplies and examination areas.
• Perform administrative duties: filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, registration.
