Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Part-time Electrophysiology Tech II to support EP procedures at the Olathe Hospital. The role involves assisting physicians, scrub duties, and maintaining sterile field in a fast-paced EP lab.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, troubleshooting EP equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection and documentation. ACLS/BLS certification is required; cardiology tech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or higher as required.
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or EP Lab preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or eligible.
• Ability to scrub and assist during procedures and maintain asepsis.

Responsibilities

• Assist during electrophysiology procedures and in the lab.
• Prepare patient/equipment, maintain sterility, and troubleshoot equipment.
• Monitor patient status and support physicians during interventions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient safety and comfort.
