Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Supervisor for the Invasive Procedures department to coordinate patient care and optimize unit operations. You will supervise staff, support staff development, and ensure compliance with safety standards while facilitating timely patient flow.

Responsibilities include staffing, performance management, protocol adherence, and collaboration with medical leadership to implement new technologies and treatments.

Qualifications

  • : Current Ga RN license, RTR, Paramedic, RCIS, RCES, RRT, or ARRT; current BLS and ACLS.
  • : Associates Degree; 3-4 years of clinical experience in Cardiovascular/Respiratory/Paramedic or related field.
  • : Two years progressive leadership preferred; Vascular Interventional Radiology Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Invasive Lab personnel; ensure nursing and patient care standards.
  • Coordinate patient care and workflow to ensure safe, efficient procedures.
  • Assist with hiring, evaluations, discipline, and time/attendance management.
  • Ensure protocols and practice align with evidence-based standards.
  • Collaborate with medical director to track patient follow-up and interventions.
  • Provide staff training and ongoing education; supervise nurses and techs.
  • Lead staff meetings and document outcomes in NGHS format.
  • Oversee scheduling and respond to staffing needs.
