Job summary

StaffDNA® seeks a skilled Radiology Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures in Norfolk, VA. You will assist with imaging for diagnostic and interventional cardiac care while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

You will prepare patients, monitor ECGs and intracardiac signals, operate imaging equipment, ensure radiation safety, and maintain accurate procedure records. Collaboration with physicians and nurses is essential in this fast-paced environment; BLS/ACLS

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EP procedures by explaining the process, obtaining consent, and ensuring their comfort.
• Monitor and record electrocardiograms (ECGs) and intracardiac signals during EP procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide physicians during diagnostic or interventional procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedure details.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the EP lab, including providing basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
