Job summary

Micross in Clearwater, Florida is seeking an experienced Test Technician to operate lab equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes and power supplies, and to perform basic counterfeit detection testing.

Responsibilities include setting up test parameters, training operators on data collection, troubleshooting test setups, reviewing data sheets and manuals, documenting findings, and supporting final Test Report creation while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Electronic technician with experience in a test environment or a bench technician with troubleshooting or design related duties.
• Associate's Degree in Electronics or equivalent coursework and experience.
• 1 to 3 years of bench technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate lab equipment such as multi-meters, power supplies, signal generators, frequency counters and oscilloscopes.
• Perform basic counterfeit detection testing including electrical AC/DC tests at specified ambient temperatures.
• Train Test Operators on test data collection processes.
• Troubleshoot general mechanical or electrical test setup related problems.
• Review product data sheets and instrumentation manuals.
