Job summary

Micross is seeking a Facility Engineer/Technician for 2nd shift at its Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina facility. The role focuses on learning maintenance in a building housing BEOL semiconductor processing cleanrooms, including office spaces.

You will support the Facilities team by performing periodic maintenance on air handling units, DI water systems, and general building maintenance tasks, with on-call duties outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• US citizenship or permanent resident status required.
• Associate’s Degree level program or equivalent experience.
• Willingness and ability to perform hands-on mechanical work.
• Ability to read building schematics is a plus.
• Experience with HVAC repair is a plus.

We are seeking a full time Facility Engineer / Technician for 2nd shift for our Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina facility.

For more than 40 years, Micross extensive hi-reliability capabilities have served the global Aerospace & Defense, Space, Energy, Medical, Industrial and Fabless Semiconductor markets. Micross possesses the sourcing, packaging, assembly, engineering, test and logistics expertise needed to support an application throughout its entire program cycle.

The Technician will focus on learning maintenance in a building which houses both office space and back end of line (BEOL) semiconductor processing cleanrooms, both Class 100 and Class 1000. This position will support and work alongside the Facilities team. This position will participate in periodic maintenance and repair for various building facilities like air handling units, DI water systems, etc., as well as typical building maintenance tasks in the office and conference room areas.

• Hands-on equipment maintenance in a BEOL facility
• Participate and execute periodic maintenance events for facilities
• Organize work areas and inventory spares
• Must have the ability to climb steps and ladders, bend, stoop, push pull and lift up-to fifty (50) pounds on a routine basis
• Employ standard troubleshooting protocols
• On Call Requirement: will be required to participate in an on-call rotation to respond to urgent maintenance needs outside of working hours.
