Job summary

Continental Electronics Corporation is seeking a technically skilled professional to perform complex electronic and mechanical work, including troubleshooting, calibration, and testing of RF and microwave systems. You will follow schematics and verbal instructions, with some supervision, and occasional domestic and international travel may be required.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent, 4+ years of related experience, and proficiency in English.

• Associates degree in related technology or equivalent technical training preferred.
• 4 years of related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and maintaining electronic and mechanical equipment, microwave products, and electro-mechanical devices and systems.

• Develop or modify products to meet company or customer requirements.
• Operate related equipment to construct, test, process, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain products.

Overview

You will be working on a variety of challenging technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining and calibrating electronic & mechanical equipment, microwave products and electro-mechanical devices, components, and systems. You will work from sketches and verbal instructions, under some supervision with autonomy. Requires occasional traveling in the US and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform difficult electronic, mechanical and technical assignments such as constructing, repairing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing & maintaining electronic and mechanical equipment, microwave products, electro-mechanical components, devices and systems
• Work from schematics, engineering drawings, written or verbal instructions
• Conduct testing of RF and Digital systems
• Develop or modify electronic and mechanical products and equipment to company or customer requirements
• Operate related electronic and mechanical equipment necessary to construct, test, process, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specific products or equipment
• Evaluate various types of electronic or mechanical products and equipment and develop calibration, test and alignment procedures
• Recommend changes or modifications to improve the operation or the quality of electronic or mechanical products and equipment
• Determines methods, operations and sequences in setting procedures for constructing, testing, troubleshooting, repairing processing, and modifying electronic and mechanical products and equipment as required
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Window O/S, loading software, network systems, Linux, PLCs

Pay may range from $32.00 to $34.00 hourly

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
