Job summary

CTDI in Flower Mound, TX is seeking an Assistant Technician to inspect product functions, test with specialized equipment, and support repair tasks on 1st shift (6:00AM-2:30PM, Mon-Fri). The role emphasizes precise soldering (SMT and TH) and thorough documentation.

You will perform disassembly/reassembly of devices, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety and quality, working both independently and in a team within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with test equipment and soldering.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing procedures using specialized equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in electronic equipment.
• Solder equipment to repair, modify, and change parts, by using both surface mount and thru-hole methods.
• Disassemble and reassemble electronic devices.
• Comply with quality performance standards.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ensure adherence to warehouse safety regulations, including compliance with ESD guidelines.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
