ProStaff Workforce Solutions in Richardson, TX is seeking an Electronics Technician II for a contract-to-hire role at a privately owned manufacturing company. The position supports PCB assembly, testing, and diagnostics with potential overtime on Saturdays and a 1st shift from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.

The role requires soldering experience, familiarity with electronic circuits, and strong attention to detail. You will work with Engineering and Quality teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree in Electronics Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with soldering
• Familiarity with electronic circuits and components.
• Proficient in using testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Aufgaben

• Reads and interprets bill of material, work orders, test procedures, performance specifications, wiring diagrams and schematics to determine testing procedure and equipment to be used.
• Confers with Engineering, Quality, Shipping and Operations Management regarding test procedures and results.
• Performs functional tests on subassemblies and Finished Goods products.
• Works with team members to produce surface mount PC boards.
• Interacts with internal QC and Test Department to eliminate placement/solder process errors.
• Maintains accurate and complete documentation.
• Demonstrates ability to maintain a Customer Service-oriented mindset in dealing with in-house customers.
• Documents product failures and communicates the data to Management in a timely manner.
