Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Production Quality Inspector in Reading, PA to perform visual and electrical inspections of production products and subassemblies, following established procedures and time limits. You will develop knowledge of electronic components, set-ups from drawings, and document all inspection data in QA reports.

You will collaborate with Quality Engineering to resolve test fixture issues and support other departments with troubleshooting on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience with visual and electrical inspections is a plus.
• Ability to read bills of materials, drawings, and engineering docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and electrical inspections and tests per procedures.
• Document results on QA forms, logs, timesheets, and failure reports.
• Interpret BOMs, drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair units or circuit boards on the production floor.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering to resolve test fixture issues.
• Assist Supervisor - Production Test by communicating production effects.
• Provide other duties as assigned.
