Inceed, L.L.C. is partnering with a great company to hire an Electronics Test Technician for a hands-on contract role in Overland Park, Kansas.

You will support production testing, repair, and component-level diagnostics on avionics and RF-related equipment, working with a collaborative technical team to grow expertise in a fast-moving environment. The role emphasizes troubleshooting across digital, analog, and RF circuits, using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analyzers, with an onsite

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic theory and circuit fundamentals.
• Experience using electronic test equipment.
• Ability to read resistors, transistors, symbols, and schematics.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment to component level.
• Diagnose root causes of failures and perform targeted rework.
• Retest repaired units to production acceptance standards.
• Review BOMs, work orders, wiring charts, and engineering drawings.
• Perform digital, analog, and RF circuit testing.
• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analyzers.
• Document all testing and repair activity accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on product issues.
• Balance troubleshooting time with board value and repair cost.

Compensation

$24 - 32 /hour, depending on experience

This is a strong contract opportunity for a hands-on electronics professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex systems and working with a collaborative technical team. You’ll support production testing, repair, and component-level diagnostics on avionics and RF-related equipment, with the chance to grow your expertise in a fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment to component level
• Diagnose root causes of failures and perform targeted rework
• Retest repaired units to production acceptance standards
• Review BOMs, work orders, wiring charts, and engineering drawings
• Perform digital, analog, and RF circuit testing
• Use test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal analyzers
• Document all testing and repair activity accurately
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams on product issues
• Balance troubleshooting time with board value and repair cost

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of electronic theory and circuit fundamentals
• Experience using electronic test equipment
• Ability to read resistors, transistors, symbols, and schematics
• Comfort working on component-level troubleshooting and repair
• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent preferred
• Two years of digital, analog, and RF repair experience preferred
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with avionics equipment
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards
• Knowledge of IPC-7711/7721 workmanship standards
• Experience with RF circuit theory
• Background in navigation aids or surveillance radios
• Exposure to engineering drawings and technical documentation
