Job summary

Nepgroup is seeking a skilled electronics technician to conduct testing, troubleshooting, alignment, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment. You will work with senior technicians to support customer needs for events and trailers, solder SMT and through-hole parts, and diagnose malfunctions from schematics and test data.

Installation and maintenance of RF communication gear, along with RF, fiber, and power cable work, are key duties.

Qualifications

Three years' experience in electronic maintenance.
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
Knowledge of two-way radios and RF systems.
Experience with test equipment and calibration.
Proficient with hand tools and basic software updates.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots electronic system failures to the component level.
Collaborates with senior techs to meet internal/external customer requirements, including event and trailer requirements.
Solders various surface mount and through-hole components.
Diagnoses potential causes of equipment malfunction using schematics and drawings.
Assists remote operations with technical troubleshooting; refers complex issues to seniors.
Repairs and calibrates equipment as needed.
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots RF communication equipment.
Demonstrates interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments to solve cross-departmental issues.
Builds, installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots RF, Fiber, and power cables.
Maintains an operational test bench with various test equipment.
