Job summary

Krypton Solutions LLC is seeking a Test Manager in Plano, TX to lead the electronics test function in our EMS lab. You will set test strategy for new products, own lab execution, and act as the primary technical contact for customer test requirements to ensure quality, throughput, and on-time delivery.

You will build and develop the test team across shifts, manage staffing, and drive data-driven improvements with calibration, standards compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7+ years electronics test experience in an EMS/PCB manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years leading test technicians and/or test engineers.
• Experience developing and debugging ICT and flying probe programs on platforms such as Keysight i3070, Teradyne TestStation, Takaya, SPEA, or Seica.
• Experience developing functional test solutions using NI LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or C#.
• Strong board-level troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, logic analyzers, schematics, and BOMs.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, ANSI/ESD S20.20, ISO 9001.
• Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and develop a team of test technicians and test engineers across shifts.
• Maintain schedule of product due dates and assign work to meet deadlines.
• Own lab staffing and headcount planning including hiring and coaching.
• Build a lab culture of safety, ESD discipline, and documentation.
• Define test strategy for new products and test point improvements.
• Oversee development, debug, and release of test programs and fixtures.
• Serve as a primary technical contact for customer test requirements and coverage reports.
• Ensure test capacity keeps pace with production schedules and resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead failure analysis on test failures, RMAs, and customer complaints.
