Position Overview

As an Electronics Test Engineer, you will ensure the performance and reliability of PCBAs used in critical systems like nuclear power by designing and executing both manual and automated test procedures. You’ll work with tools such as LabVIEW and TestStand on PXI and VXI platforms to translate technical requirements into effective test strategies. Your role also involves troubleshooting, supporting external production testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain specifications, test protocols, and documentation for electronic components and systems.
• Design and implement manual and automated test procedures using LabVIEW/TestStand to ensure product reliability.
• Troubleshoot test issues and support technicians and vendors during testing and production.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve technical issues and deliver timely support for manufacturing and in-service platforms.
• Apply product development lifecycle knowledge and strong problem-solving skills to drive engineering and business outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in power electronics.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and TestStand, with hands-on experience in automated test systems.
• Strong understanding of electronics design principles, including design for manufacturing (DFM), test methodologies, and power switching/control circuitry.
• Skilled in troubleshooting analog and digital electronics using tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills; experience in the nuclear industry is a plus.
