Job summary

Motorola Solutions' Silvus Technologies unit in West Los Angeles is seeking an entry level Electronics Technician I for the production team. You will work closely with operations management and engineering to ensure high quality and timely delivery on the StreamCaster line of MIMO radios, in a fully on-site shift from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong manual dexterity, solid PC skills, and a collaborative, detail‑oriented mindset. U.S.

Opportunity

Silvus is seeking an entry level Electronics Technician‑I for the production team of Silvus’ StreamCaster line of MIMO radios. This role will work closely with operations management and engineering to ensure high quality and timely delivery as well as provide feedback for continuous improvement of the product. This is a fully on‑site position, Monday through Friday, from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The location for this role is Silvus Technologies’ HQ in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles.

Role and Responsibilities

• Testing of sensitive electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Final assembly and inspection of finished products.
• System testing and quality control testing in production.
• Statistics logging and reporting with daily feedback to the team.
• Perform other related duties of which the above are representative.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good manual dexterity and strong hand skills with tools (tweezers, screw/bolt drivers, torque wrenches).
• Competent as a PC user, and computer savvy.
• Collaborative spirit, committed to team success.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Enjoys hands‑on work; is careful and detail oriented.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.
• All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check and drug test.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience in an electronics manufacturing and testing environment. Linux experience is a plus.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Indoor air‑conditioned facility. Occasional exposure to heat and cold. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following: Lift up to 25 lbs. Walking/Moving in the labs.

Compensation

$21.63 - $22.66 / hourly. This salary range is NOT guaranteed. It is based on market research and peer data and will vary depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
