Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking an Electronic Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic control modules at our Lewisberry, PA facility. You will follow detailed work instructions and collaborate with a team to deliver quality board repairs.

Responsibilities include reviewing schematics, testing with DVM and oscilloscope, repairing components with soldering, and retesting to ensure reliability. Soldering experience and CMS log-keeping are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent or military experience.
• Soldering experience.
• Ability to read schematics and board prints.
• Proficient with DVM, oscilloscope, tracker and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to identify different types of electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow detailed work instructions.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties.
• Check tag and test unit for failure.
• Find and review schematic and board prints.
• Troubleshoot board.
• Repair board using test equipment and soldering.
• Retest to ensure board passes.
• Keep log of units repaired in CMS system.
• Participate in various improvement activities.
