Job summary

Phoenix Defense LLC is seeking a motivated Electronics Technician Maintenance I to support the Warfighter Training Readiness Contract for the Digital Range Training System (DRTS) at Fort Carson, CO. You will install, operate, inspect, and perform preventative maintenance on DRTS devices, ensuring readiness for training missions.

You will collaborate with Instructors, manage spare parts, and document work orders while adhering to safety and security requirements.

Qualifications

1–2 years experience with electronics testing/troubleshooting preferred.
Basic computer skills two to four years experience; proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
Must be able to obtain/maintain a valid driver's license and On-Post driving privileges.
Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform all functions required to maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment for the DRTS Device.
Maintain CPF status for assigned training devices by performing maintenance and repair of electronic TADSS and equipment for DRTS.
Assist in management of device spare parts inventories and research/identify repair parts.
Apply technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting military specifications and manuals to perform PMCS, troubleshooting and fault isolation.
Work with Instructors during training to resolve software/hardware issues in a timely manner.
Enter work order data in the management system.
Assist in maintaining other training devices during manpower shortages and training surges.
Cross-train and utilize with other TADSS devices on Fort Carson, CO.
