Job summary

Phoenix Defense, LLC is seeking an Electronic Technician Maintenance I to support the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions Program in Louisville, KY. You will maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and interpret manuals to solve technical issues.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of electronics testing and troubleshooting experience, solid Windows/Linux/Unix skills, and the ability to work from detailed procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electronics testing/troubleshooting experience.
• Intermediate computer and networking skills.
• Familiarity with Windows, Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to obtain Electronics Technician Certification.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electronic TADSS and equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance per guidelines and specs.
• Interpret manuals to solve electrical, mechanical, and computer issues.
• Inventory spare/repair parts per contract guidelines.
• Log maintenance history and annotate work orders in MIS.
• May supervise lower-level technicians and review their work.
• Ensure paperwork and reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings for maintenance tasks.
• May travel to other installations and W-TRS locations.
