Trend Personnel Services is seeking anElectronics Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity with an established electronics service and repair company. This is a hands-on bench technician position focused ontroubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment at the component level.
The ideal candidate has experience working with circuit boards and electronic components and is comfortable using diagnostic equipment to identify failures and complete repairs.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic equipment and circuit boards at thecomponent level
Test electronic components to identify faults and determine necessary repairs
Usedigital multimeters/voltage meters and other electronic test equipment
Perform soldering and desoldering of electronic components
Replace defective components, connectors, wiring, and other electronic parts
Inspect circuit boards for damaged, failed, or defective components
Read and interpret basic electronic schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation
Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and testing performed
Follow established quality and safety procedures
Previous experience inelectronics repair, electronics assembly, or a similar technician role
Understanding of basic electronic components, circuits, and electrical principles
Component-level troubleshooting and repair experience strongly preferred
Ability to use adigital multimeter/voltage meter
Soldering and desoldering experience
Ability to identify and work with common electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, connectors, and integrated circuits
Ability to work with small components and perform detailed, precise work
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in electronics, electrical technology, or a related field is a plus
