Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring a Sensors and Systems Technician for its Manufacturing Organization in Linthicum, Maryland. This 5th shift role involves testing, operating, troubleshooting, calibrating, constructing, repairing and assembling a broad spectrum of technologies, with data collection and analysis to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive knowledge of electronics principles.
• High degree of skill in fabrication and testing of complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits and systems.
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and requirements.
• Capable of meeting solder certification requirements and passing pre-employment screening.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, operation, troubleshooting, calibrating, constructing, repairing and assembly across technologies.
• Collect, record, analyze and evaluate data; propose changes to processing operations and equipment as needed.
• Work in a union environment as part of Northrop Grumman Manufacturing Organization.
