Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking an Electronics Technician Maintenance I for on-site work at Fort Irwin, CA. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, modifying, and installing diverse electronic equipment in a military training environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with RF systems, spectrum analysis, and a solid understanding of RF terminology. A Secret clearance is required or sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting, modifying, and installing electronic equipment.
• Experience with RF equipment and measurements.
• Ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, modify, and install electronic equipment and related devices.
• Take measurements with spectrum analyzer, digital multimeter, and other RF instruments.
• Apply electronics principles to diagnose malfunctions.
• Replace components, wire circuits, and repair simple electronic equipment.
• Restore equipment from non-working to working state.
• Receive guidance from supervisors or higher-level technicians.
• Perform simple tasks following detailed instructions.
• Receive technical guidance from supervisors or higher-level technicians.
• Heavy lifting and field work in inclement weather, in a military environment.
