Job summary

Alpine Energy Services in El Reno, Oklahoma seeks an Electronics Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on hydraulic fracturing equipment and related power distribution and control systems. Qualified candidates will have 3-5+ years of electronics technology experience in oilfield or heavy equipment environments, and hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Familiarity with NFPA 70E safety practices and a clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in electronics technology in oilfield/heavy equipment settings.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Familiarity with frac power distribution, switchgear, transformers, and AC drives.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Inspect and repair DC/AC power systems, switchgear, transformers, motors, and cables.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and control drawings to diagnose issues.
• Lead or assist with equipment upgrades and improvements to electrical systems.
