Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Electronics Technician Maintenance I to support US Navy programs.

You will perform complex technical tasks, including setup, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic systems, following schematics and manuals. With an Associate degree or equivalent experience and 1+ year in Navy electronics or related fields, you will work at a customer site on site in Chesapeake, VA.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience in US Replacing Navy Electronics.
• Location: Customer Site.

Responsibilities

• Perform set up, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic components and systems.
• Repair or modify cables and equipment returned by users or by personnel in the associated test and development laboratories.
• Build, repair or modify complex cables and work from schematics with minimal supervision.
• Diagnose and isolate equipment and system malfunctions that fail to respond to standard corrective measures.
