This position, located at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, provides technical support for Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) operations across a wide array of aircraft and missions. Typical duties include: laying out, fabricating, and assembling electronic components following predetermined methods and criteria; adjusting, repairing, and modifying systems, working from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams; repairing and/or replacing malfunctioning units as directed; setting up and operating standard electronic testing equipment; using hand powered and unpowered tools and simple machine power tools to fabricate electronic components; and performing related job duties as required.

This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
