Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronic Technician 2 to join its Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team.

The role focuses on on-site installation, maintenance and integration of electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control and CCTV for federal, local and commercial customers. Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of electronics experience, a HS diploma or GED (or Military Electronics Training), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and programs
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Requires a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training acceptable for education/experience requirements

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems, and provides technical support to customers
• Analyzes and interprets drawings to assess constructability and ensure accuracy
• Installs raceways, cabling, racks, panels, and grounding per NEC standards
• Communicates with project teams and maintains safety compliance
• Maintains tool inventory and participates in daily safety meetings
