Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems team. You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

The position requires 4+ years of electronics installation experience, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to travel 50-75%. Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
• Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Ability to travel: 50-75%

Responsibilities

• Executes on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation.
• Provides technical support to customers and communicates with project teams.
• Survey site conditions and ensure safety and NEC compliance.
• Installs raceway, cabling, racks, panels, and grounding equipment.
