Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician I to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team.

You will work on electrical, electronic security, and IT systems across federal, local, and commercial projects, performing installs, testing, and maintenance to ensure reliability and security. Responsibilities include site surveys, configuration, and customer support, while mentoring junior staff and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; Military Electronics Training (720 classroom hours) required.
• 2+ years electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security equipment.
• Configure hardware/software, conduct site surveys, test systems for proper operation.
• Provide technical support to customers and coordinate with project teams.
• Mentor junior technicians and document daily work using Infralink or similar tools.
• Follow safety plans and NEC standards; uphold M.C. Dean quality standards.
