Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit. You will contribute to design, integration, and maintenance of electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers.

Role requires extensive field work, site surveys, and collaboration with project teams. Travel up to 25% and active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph ability are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph ability is required.

Responsibilities

• Executes technical tasks within field operations, including on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation and provides technical support to customers.
• Performs site surveys, ensures adherence to NEC standards, and maintains equipment grounding.
• Collaborates with MC Dean project teams and communicates effectively with clients and staff.
• Plans, prioritizes tasks and documents field conditions for feedback to the project team.
