Job summary
M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit, performing on-site installations, maintenance, and testing for federal, local, and commercial customers.
You will work across intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and IT systems, ensuring safety and quality while collaborating with project teams. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, a relevant diploma or apprenticeship, and strong communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; electronics training preferred.
- Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship.
- An additional three years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.
Responsibilities
- Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
- Configures hardware and software; conducts site surveys and tests systems.
- Provides technical support to customers and communicates with teams.
- Follows safety plans and policies; participates in quality reviews.
- Leads by example, mentors crew, and supports project planning.
- Tracks metrics, resource planning, and commissioning activities.
