Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit.

The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, testing, and support across intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial customers. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, strong communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to follow safety and quality procedures.

Qualifications

• 4+ years electronics installation/maintenance across multiple systems and with multiple customer programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems, and provides technical support to customers.
• Lead commissioning efforts and coordinate with owners and design teams.
• Communicates with project teams, other trades, and customers to ensure quality and safety.
