Job summary

Smith+ Nephew is seeking an Electronic Technician II to diagnose, repair, calibrate, and test electromechanical medical instruments in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will document activities in DHRs and prepare items for shipment while supporting sustained quality and performance standards.

The role requires 2–4 years in a related field, proficiency with schematics and test equipment, and strong attention to detail in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; electronics degree preferred.
• 2–4 years experience as Electronic Technician or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting using drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and test electromechanical instruments according to procedures and specs.
• Document repairs and testing in DHRs and quality records.
• Prepare and package instruments for shipment; assist with quotes.
