Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Electronics Technician III to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of NAS-related electronic systems under the FAA TSSC-5 contract. Travel up to 100% within the USA may be required; a strong background in electronics, RF, and test equipment is essential.

Responsibilities include wiring, testing, documentation, and adherence to FAA safety and quality requirements while supporting field installations nationwide with a professional team at Parsons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Five+ years of working knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.
• Fundamentals of RF and communications equipment.
• Use of standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, basic scopes, signal generators).
• Read and interpret basic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Travel up to 100% within the USA.

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems and equipment per drawings and standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems at unit, board, or module level.
• Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of NAS-related systems.
• Document maintenance logs, service tickets, and test forms.
• Follow FAA safety, security, and quality practices.
