Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking an Electronics Technician II (Cable Fab) in North Charleston, SC. The role involves assembling RF, fiber, network, MIL-spec, and power cable assemblies according to established sheets and drawings, and performing testing with standard equipment.

You will interpret schematics, follow procedures, and maintain quality while working as part of a dynamic production team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic mathematics to complete production tasks.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain Secret clearance (TS/SCI potential).
Ability to assemble wire harnesses and cables using docs and tools.
Interpret schematics and instructions to build cables and assemblies.
Capable of cutting, stripping, terminating, and labeling cables.

Responsibilities

Assemble RF, fiber, network, serial, MIL-spec, and power cables per run sheets and drawings.
Assemble rack-mounted and desktop electronics per drawings using tools and soldering techniques.
Conduct tests with multimeters, fiber scopes, generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Perform quality checks to ensure safety and quality standards.
