Job summary

CJ Schwan's is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our Kentucky facility. The role focuses on electrical maintenance, PCB assembly, and PLC programming to support manufacturing of popular pizza brands.

Responsibilities include testing, calibration, schematic interpretation, and implementing process improvements; requires lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to work varied shifts. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Work different ranges of hours such as full-time, overtime, or weekend shifts.
• Advanced electrical and maintenance knowledge/experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Builds printed circuit boards and electronic sub-assemblies; constructs circuits and sizes components per application.
• May assist in fabrication and testing of electrical/electronic systems and final assemblies.
• Performs periodic inspections of scales, meters, controllers, recorders and other measuring devices.
• Calibrates instruments; replaces and adjusts equipment as designed.
• Performs PMs, inspections and verifications on control components.
• Maintains material lists and assists in purchasing requests.
• Modifies and writes logic control programs; aids in diagnosing problems and corrective actions.
• Reads schematics for maintenance or installation of plant equipment.
• Installs, maintains and troubleshoots electrical and electronics equipment.
• Writes PLC drive logic, develops HMI applications, uploads/downloads PLC programs, and integrates new processes into equipment.
