Job summary

Hood Packaging Corporation, a leading paper packaging producer, seeks an Electronics Specialist for the Tifton, GA facility to repair and maintain electrical equipment. You will read maintenance orders, wiring diagrams, and schematics, communicate with team members, and keep log records while ensuring safety and quality compliance.

The role requires 2-year technical training or equivalent maintenance experience, ability to lift 40–80 lbs, and strong math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and advanced mathematics at approximately 14th grade level.
• Technical School Training (2 year degree) or 5+ years experience in maintenance.
• Good organizational and housekeeping skills

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain electrical and electronic equipment in the facility; read maintenance orders and ensure materials are available.
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics; communicate with teammates; keep log records.
• Lift up to 40–80 lbs, operate safely and follow ISO and safety procedures.
