Job summary
The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh is seeking an Electronics Maintenance Technician to supervise and repair electronic systems across Authority properties. You will troubleshoot fire alarm and security systems, cameras, intercoms, card access, and related cabling to ensure safety and reliability.
Requirements include a high school diploma with electronics schooling and several years of hands-on electronics experience, along with a valid driver's license and ability to travel between
Qualifications
- High School diploma plus two years of electronics school with four years of electronics experience or an equivalent combination.
- Experience with fire alarm panels: Ademco, Autocall, Simplex, Edwards, FCI, Honeywell.
- Experience with Burglar/Security Systems: DSC, Caddx.
- Experience with Camera Systems: Pelco, Panasonic, Sony.
- Experience with Door Entry: Keri Systems.
- Intercom: SES, Microm, Mitrone, Tektone.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain fire alarm systems, burglar systems.
- Maintain security camera systems and intercom systems.
- Maintain and repair key card locking systems, nurses call and TV monitoring systems and cable systems.
- Installation and trouble shoot CAT 5 & 6.
- Run surface mount, raceway and conduit.
- Fiber optic background and fusion/mechanical splicing experience.
