Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role covers installation, integration, and maintenance of intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial clients.

The candidate will lead on-site commissioning, safety audits, and project documentation while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring timely delivery across global sites. A Public Trust clearance is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Military Electronics Training or equivalent.
• Graduation from Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• An additional 3 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Electronics Technician 4 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business Unit. As part of (SES) Strategic Business Unit you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, it systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory

• Leading teams on Large complex installation projects with limited supervision.
• Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks, ORMs and Safety Audits.
• Installing and Maintain equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
• Programming and Installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
• Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory Performing Take off project drawings Create,
• Document and Track RFIs.
• Design assist and feedback

Qualifications

Clearance/Citizen Type: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Key Requirements

• Requires a Valid driver's license. This position may require ongoing or intermittent use of a company vehicle.
• Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record in accordance to our policy

Education

• HS diploma or GED
• Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) or
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
• Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities

Required Progressive Experience

• 8+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
• 3 years of the above experience must be focused in electronic security systems
• Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.
• Must be able to travel 50%.

Desired / Advantageous Qualifications

• Vendor certifications in multiple IDS, ACS, and CCTV systems CCURE, Lenel, Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, Bosch BVMS, AIphone Intercom Systems Airphone, FFT, DIVAR, Windows operating systems & certifications and experience in installation of said systems.

Abilities

• The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to [50 pounds] on a regular basis.
