Overview

We are seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. The role involves designing, engineering, integrating, operating, and maintaining electronic security systems for federal, local, and commercial clients across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic systems.
• Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, test systems, and provide technical support.
• Follow safety protocols, participate in quality reviews, track project metrics, and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Install system components, terminate and test electronic devices, and troubleshoot network and fiber optic issues.
• Lead commissioning efforts and communicate effectively with teams and clients.
• Mentor team members and contribute to strategic planning.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; military electronics training, electronics technician program, or electrical apprenticeship.
• Minimum 6 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; proficiency in MS Office is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Vendor certifications in IDS, CCTV, access control systems, and Windows OS.
• Three years of experience in electronic security systems.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Pay Range: USD $32.00 - USD $46.42 per hour.
