GE Aerospace in Florida is seeking a technically skilled professional to provide production and aftermarket repair support for electronic and electro-mechanical systems. The role involves setting up test equipment, following procedures and schematics, and performing troubleshooting and calibration to ensure instruments meet standards.
The candidate will perform repairs/overhauls, handle hazardous materials, and may work overtime as required within a safety-rated facility.
The role involves providing technical support for production or aftermarket repair services, including setting up and operating test equipment, troubleshooting complex electronic and electro‑mechanical systems using schematics and documentation. Responsibilities also include testing, calibrating, adjusting, and maintaining measuring instruments to meet standards, and performing repair and overhaul services for assigned technology. The individual is authorized to execute all assigned tasks and handle additional responsibilities as needed.
This role requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information. Employment is contingent upon meeting the status of a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, or granted asylee/refugee status).
