We are seeking a Electronics Technician 2 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio-visual systems, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers across high-growth markets.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, evaluations, and inventory management.
• Lead teams on small to moderately complex installation projects.
• Conduct and document daily toolbox talks.
• Install head-end equipment at local and global levels according to design packages.
• Program head-end equipment for access control, intrusion detection, and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot and isolate system and hardware issues locally and globally.
• Provide on-site software commissioning and testing.

Qualifications

• No clearance required.
• Valid driver's license; acceptable driving record.
• HS diploma or GED, Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 hours), graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program, or 3+ years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of electronics installation/maintenance experience, with at least 3 years focused on electronic security systems.
• Strong communication, time management, organizational, and MS Office skills.
• Up to 25% travel required.

Desired Qualifications

• Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems.
• Experience with Identiv/Hirsch Velocity, Bosch Radionics, Bosch CCTV, CCURE, Genetec, Windows OS, and related systems.

Abilities

• Good vision, color perception, and communication skills.
• Ability to recognize problems and apply general rules to specific issues.
