Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician with hands-on experience in electronics assembly and soldering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components and devices. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. This is a 3-4 month contract.


Responsibilities:
  • Electronics Assembly: Assemble electronic devices and components following schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
  • Soldering: Perform precise soldering and desoldering of components on PCBs, including through-hole and surface-mount components.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct functional tests on assembled electronics to identify and resolve issues using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect assembled components to ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality guidelines.
  • Repair & Maintenance: Repair and rework defective electronic components and devices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including assembly notes, test results, and repair logs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and production staff to improve processes and resolve technical challenges.

$20 - $30 an hour
