Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking an Electronics Technician Level I to support repair of low-complexity electronic modules and production equipment in our Florida facility. You will follow detailed instructions, diagnose and refurbish equipment, and document quality actions as part of a safety-conscious team.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, 0–2 years in electrical/mechanical repair, soldering skills, ability to read schematics, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical repair of industrial machines.
  • Basic soldering skills and experience using electronic test equipment.
  • Ability to read schematics and drawings.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Entry-level problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Quality- and safety-focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Good time management and ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed work instructions, processes and procedures.
  • Diagnose, refurbish and repair product inspection equipment in accordance with risk assessment and safe mechanical and electrical guidelines.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to the Repair Supervisors and/or Repair Manager.
  • Document actions by completing quality checklists.
  • Work with supervision to understand process capabilities and develop ideas that reduce costs and improve quality. Provide basic hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, coworkers and management.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Accurately track and record time spent on projects.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform entry-level SAP transactions.
  • Maintain a basic understanding of SAP processes and transactions related to production orders.

  • Follow detailed work instructions, processes and procedures.
  • Diagnose, refurbish and repair product inspection equipment in accordance with risk assessment and safe mechanical and electrical guidelines.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to the Repair Supervisors and/or Repair Manager.

What You Need to Succeed
