Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electronics Technician in Tolleson, AZ for a permanent onsite role. You will conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic components, reading schematics, and ensuring quality standards while maintaining a clean work area.

The position requires proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltmeters) and soldering skills (SMT and through-hole). Team-oriented yet capable of autonomous work, with adherence to ESD policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience reading schematics is required.
  • Experience using test equipment (oscilloscopes, generators, meters).
  • Ability to pass a Technical Aptitude Test when applicable.
  • Experience handling Hard Drive devices and adhering to ESD policy.

Job Description
Job Title: Electronics Technician

Conducts, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical and electronic components with precision and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic components.
  • Analyze issues down to the component level.
  • Maintain efficiency and timeliness in completing repair orders and projects.
  • Read and interpret schematic diagrams.
  • Comply with quality performance standards.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Follow warehouse safety regulations.
  • Perform all other duties assigned, based on the business needs of the warehouse.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in electronics and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read schematic diagrams.
  • Understanding of various technology systems and applications, including component theory.
  • Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and volt meters.
  • Skillful in soldering and de-soldering techniques, including surface mount and thru-hole methods.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills for precise data entry.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse environment where you may need to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. You should be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform tasks involving bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching continuously. The shift for this position is Monday to Friday, 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Tolleson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.17 - $21.50/hr.
