You will be an Aircraft Avionics Technician I. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Avionics Technician I to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Aircraft Avionics Technician I, you will be responsible for:

  • The Avionics TechnicianI (LevelI) provides entry-level electrical and avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair for the SOF GLSS rotary-wing fleets. The duties of this title will perform many tasks independently.
  • The candidate will commonly assist or work within general instructions from higher rated employees in the environment.
  • The duties will include scheduled and unscheduled modifications, inspections, and ensure all electrical systems meet airworthiness standards to support time-critical Special Operations missions.
Basic Qualifications
  • Aircraft Handling Knowledge – Understanding of safe grounding, electrostatic discharge precautions, and aircraft handling procedures relevant to electrical work.
  • Maintenance Record Keeping – Ability to accurately document all electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in required logs and systems.
  • Quality Verification – Demonstrated skill in verifying that work meets required standards for reliability, safety, and airworthiness.
  • Line Maintenance Experience – Capability to support electrical systems during flight-line operations with routine troubleshooting and minor repairs.
  • Operational Flexibility – Effective teamwork and independent work habits, with readiness for varying shift structures and travel.

Must possess or be eligible for the required security clearance.

Pay Information
  • $33.50 - $33.50
