Lockheed Martin is seeking personnel to fabricate, install, and modify aircraft electrical wiring systems and fiber optic cables during early production. You will incorporate design changes and verify continuity of complete electrical and electronics wiring systems.
The role covers wiring complex panels, consoles, junction boxes, and power units, with hands-on work in assembly, testing, and modifications as required. A background in avionics installations is preferred.

This occupation covers determining work operation sequences, making necessary layouts, and wiring and assembling complex aircraft electrical, radio, instrument, and control panels, consoles, and junction boxes during early production and installation stages and incorporating subsequent design changes therein, and servicing, overhauling, and functional-testing aircraft starter-generators, motors, inverters, and other controlling-actuating electrical and electro-mechanical power units and accessories.
Install preassembled wiring harnesses in conformance with predetermined routing, fasten in place with clips, brackets and other holding devices.
Connect wiring to equipment, panels, relays, and accessories.
Make continuity checks on primary installations.
Hands on electrical experience working on aircraft; routing wire on an electrical wiring board – pin and plug process.
Stripping, crimping, terminating, and soldering wire; installing wiring harnesses in aircraft.
Ability to read electrical blueprints.
Two years aircraft electrical assembly/electrical wire harness experience.
Must perform and pass Proficiency Demonstration after training to retain employment.
