Cummins Inc. is seeking an Electronics Systems Validation Engineering STW student to join the Drivetrain & Braking Systems Advanced Engineering Team in Troy, MI. You will work on validating electronic systems, building test setups, and analyzing data to support product development.

You will gain exposure to industry-standard tools, learn automotive validation platforms, and collaborate with engineers to improve testing efficiency and reliability on real-world programs.

Qualifications

• Enrolled full-time in an accredited US college or university.
• Pursuing Electrical/Systems/Control Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 preferred.
• Available for 6–12 month School-to-Work assignment and 40 hours/week.
• Willingness to learn automotive validation tools and testing practices.

Responsabilités

• Support Product Validation by executing test plans and documenting results.
• Build, configure, and maintain electrical test environments for validation.
• Drive data-based decisions by analyzing test results and system performance.
• Improve system reliability through validation procedures and test cases.
• Collaborate with validation, controls, and cross-functional teams.
• Advance testing capabilities using industry-standard validation tools.
