The Leidos NISC IV team is seeking a dynamic Senior Instructor to join the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract (NISC IV) team.
The position will support the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) NISC support team with the goal of providing outstanding customer service to FAA customers receiving NISC services. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your experience in supporting the NISC IV mission. The contract involves providing technical instructions for new hire Electronics personnel with the skills required to perform fiber optics projects assigned to Engineering Services.
This is a remote consulting position - candidates can be located anywhere in the US, with travel to Lakeland, FL, or other locations as needed to teach classes.
Primary Responsibilities:
The Senior Instructor or Trainer will provide classroom instruction to students through lectures, demonstrations, laboratory exercises, handouts, and testing. Courses will be taught in-person, with options for day and evening classes.
Assist students in developing fundamental skills required to serve as entry-level fiber optic cable installers or technicians.
