Job summary

Singer Group in Torrance, CA seeks an Electronics Specialist to install motorsport-grade harnesses, electronics, and related components. The role emphasizes precision and leadership in a fast-paced automotive production environment.

You will monitor and improve electrical system operation, train technicians, and collaborate with the Electronic Team to ensure quality and schedule adherence on-site in Torrance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automotive manufacturing and automotive electrical system experience.
• Experience in programming and machine controls or electronics validation and testing.
• Experience with electronic tools, crimpers, strippers, soldering irons, and heat guns.
• Comprehensive understanding of motorsport automotive grade electronics and wiring.
• Competency with basic hand tools, cutting tools, air tools, and electric grinders.
• Understanding of engine management systems and Power Distribution Modules.

Responsibilities

• Provides feedback to Production Supervisor on performance and growth of each team member.
• Trains new/lower grade technicians on processes and procedures.
• Validate the correct operation of each system to verify operation and performance of electrical.
• Supporting the Electronic Team and End of Line Technicians with electrical and mechanical diagnostics to improve quality measures.
• Works with Lead and Production Supervisor to ensure production demands meets the specified production schedule.
